The display Mac users deserve
120Hz ProMotion on a 5K display is transformative for Mac workflows. Scrolling code, video editing, and even moving windows feel incredibly fluid. The camera is finally good enough for professional video calls. The speakers are genuinely impressive.

The Studio Display 2 is beautiful and the ProMotion upgrade is meaningful. But at $1,799 without mini-LED or HDR, it's hard to swallow compared to the $1,599 Pro Display XDR (still expensive!) or the excellent Dell U series at $600. You're paying for the Apple ecosystem premium.
As someone who spends 6+ hours in video calls daily, the 48MP camera with Center Stage is life-changing. I look professional on every call. The Desk View feature is fantastic for presentations. The 120Hz display is just the cherry on top.
